Fingering Weight Yarn consisting of 90% SUPERWASH Merino Wool with 10% Nylon for a little bounce and support. Approximately 480 yards per skein weighing in at 125 Grams each. This beautiful yarn is a Hand dyed by me, the colorist magician utilizing acid dyes. I take much effort to ensure consistency and a minimum amount of dye bleed. No two skeins are exactly alike but as close as possible within the same dye bath. No animals or smoke are present in my home.
Great for socks, shawls, sweaters, blankets, or any item you desire.
Gauge is typically 8 stitches per 1 inch on a U. S. 2 needle, but you can increase the needle size for an airy or lace garment.
Colorway description: Alaskan Salmon is the name and represents the colorway perfectly. This is not red, but a salmon-colored tonal yarn. The beautiful yarn carries multiple colors that make-up a fresh salmon. Thanks, Alaska for the wonderful visit, friends made and laughs cherished.
